Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains what Adult Web Hosting ("we", "us") does and does not allow on hosting and web design services we provide, and what happens when content falls outside it. It applies to every client, on every plan, without exception.

Our commitment to you

We exist specifically to host legal adult content that generic hosting providers refuse to touch. If your content is legal under South African law and involves only consenting adults, we will not suspend, restrict or terminate your account because of its adult nature - full stop. That commitment is what this Policy protects: by drawing a hard line around what is genuinely illegal, we're able to stand firmly behind everything on the right side of it.

Content we never allow, under any circumstances

The following results in immediate suspension and, where required by law, a report to the South African Police Service and/or the Film and Publication Board. There is no warning period and no appeal for this category:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - any depiction, real or simulated, of a person under 18 in a sexual context or explicit display of genitals. Zero tolerance, no exceptions.
Any content involving, or purporting to involve, a minor in a sexual or exploitative context.
Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn") - sharing private sexual photographs or videos of a real person without their consent, regardless of how the material was originally obtained.
Bestiality or other content that depicts sexual conduct involving animals.
Extreme or degrading content that violates human dignity, glorifies non-consensual violence, or otherwise falls into the classification categories prohibited under the Films and Publications Act.
Hate speech or incitement - content that advocates hatred based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion or similar grounds and constitutes incitement to cause harm.
Human trafficking or sexual exploitation of any kind, including content that advertises or facilitates it.

What "legal adult content" requires from you

By hosting with us, you warrant that:

Everyone depicted in your content is a real, consenting adult aged 18 or older, and you can provide proof of age and consent on request.
You hold all necessary rights, licences and consents for every piece of content on your site, including model releases where applicable.
Your site prevents access by minors where required (age verification / age gating) and complies with any classification or labelling obligations that apply to commercial distributors of adult content under the Films and Publications Act.
You will cooperate with lawful requests from us, the Film and Publication Board, or the South African Police Service regarding content on your account.

How we handle reports and takedowns

Report it. Anyone - a member of the public, a rights holder, a law enforcement agency, or a court - can report content believed to violate this Policy via our contact page.
We act fast. Reports involving CSAM or non-consensual intimate imagery are treated as priority and actioned immediately; other reports are reviewed promptly and in good faith.
We preserve evidence. Where content is removed or an account is suspended for a suspected violation, we preserve relevant records as required by law and cooperate with SAPS and the FPB on formal requests.
Valid court orders are followed. Where a South African court orders the removal of content (for example, under the Cybercrimes Act), we comply.

Your data

Any personal information we process in connection with enforcing this Policy - including reports, account details, and records kept for compliance purposes - is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as South African law or our own processes evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

This Policy is a plain-language summary of our content standards and relevant South African law (including the Films and Publications Act, the Cybercrimes Act, and POPIA) as we understand it.
